This year in New York, Ilene Shack and the staff of Independent Visions, presented an exciting bridal fashion show that featured 159 brands from over 13 countries. The event attracted over 800 stores from all over the world seeking the latest bridal fashion trends from top designers. The event was covered by top US and International press plus major bridal publications such as Town and Country, In Style, and Glamor. This year stores traveled from countries that included Japan, Ireland, England, Canada, Mexico, Antigua, and the Bahamas.

Independent Visions was born out of Ilene's vision to offer buyers an opportunity to select from the blossoming new talent in the US and overseas. Independent Visions launched its first show in September of 1995 with seven designers. Now, only 11 seasons later, 159 labels were represented. Independent Visions has successfully discovered and promoted such notable lines as Reem Acra, Wearkstatt, Paris, and Melissa Sweet. Independent Vision's serves as a launch pad for top international and European companies such as Max Chaoul and Atelier Aimee and a creative lab for new bridal talent.

The founder, Ilene Shack, began as an import manager and sales director for a top evening wear manufacturer before becoming the national bridal director and buyer for all 50 of Saks Fifth Avenue Stores nationwide. During her tenure she oversaw the creation of Vera Wang's custom designed gown at Saks Fifth Ave.

Trade Show Admittance Rules:

1.	Admittance to the show is at the discretion of the producer & show staff of Independent Visions ce Trade Show.
2.	All buyers/employees from stores must bring a business card (with their name) and a photo I.D. when picking up their pre-registered badges or to gain admittance when registering at the show site.
3.	All manufacturers, designers & sales representatives visiting the show site must indicate who they are and make an appointment with Ilene Shack for a brief meeting before gaining access to the show. New York area manufactures, designers and sales representatives are prohibited from entering.
4.	This show is not open to the general public. Proper business identification is required.
